His lips were soft and irresistible to stop. I was angry. I snapped out of thinking about his lips and then punched him in the stomach. He deserved it, for kissing me like that so suddenly. I grabbed his arm and lifted him up, then walked to a bench in the lobby. The other Arashi members noticed me putting him on the bench and Jun asked. “What happened to Nino?”
I smiled and said. “Long story. Can someone get an ice pack from the fridge?” Jun just nodded and ran to get an ice pack. Aiba and Ohno was beside him trying to wake him up. When Jun came back with an ice pack, Nino woke up. “Ah.. I have a really bad headache and my stomach hurts so much.” I smirked and muttered. “You deserved that.” I wanted to go home. My heart was filled with confusion. I knew Nino was drunk but does he still have feelings for me? Why?
I turned around and walked to the banquet hall. I saw V6 and said. “Gomen. I wish I could stay longer but I have to get going.” I bowed to V6 and they waved or bowed good-bye to me. I walked to Johnny-san who was near the food table. “Johnny-san, arigato for inviting me. I have to get going now.” He smiled and nodded. I walked towards the lobby where Arashi saw everyone staring at me.
“Ninomiya-san, arigato for helping me.” I bowed and then I said to Arashi. “I have to go home now. Bye-bye.” I walked towards the door and glanced behind me. They were looking at each other but Nino was staring at me. Then I started to walk home. With no key and money.
During my walk, I was approached by some guys but thanks to the sports team in high school. I was physically prepared if anyone wanted to touch me. I got back home safe and sound. I got in trouble with the landlady because I forgot my key. That was actually Nino’s fault but I thought that the punch was good enough to get him back. She opened the door and I fell right onto my bed, sleeping like I never had a good sleep before.
The next day, someone knocked on my door. I woke up and opened the door to find Sho and Jun. They looked like they were worried about me. I changed into something more relaxing and made coffee for Jun and Sho who were sitting at my dining room table. “So, why are you guys here? You can see I’m fine.” They looked at each other and Jun asked. “What happened to you and Nino last night?” They knew that something was wrong about last night. I sighed and started to tell them my story.
“Oh, so that’s why Nino has a bruise on his stomach..” Sho said to me. “Yeah, I was surprised and the only thing I could do was to punch him, although he deserved it.” They laughed and I asked them. “Please don’t tell Ninomiya-san. I just want to keep it a secret until he figures it out for himself.” They smiled and then Sho asked. “Um.. Well did you know that Nino had feelings for you?” I nodded and I said “I had a bet with him. He won so I had to go on a date with him. But I found out that I had to moved to Osaka. I still have that promise with him, to go out on a date with him. But after all these years of not seeing each other, I thought he moved on...” They looked at each other and Jun asked me. “Are you free this Sunday?” I nodded and said. “Yeah, why?” They both smirked and Sho said. “Ah, look at the time, we have to go to a outdoor shoot. Bye-bye Sakura-chan.” I nodded in a confused state.
The whole day, I decided to stock up my fridge. I went to a local supermarket and bought a lot of food. Thinking that Arashi will come to my house again and try to empty my fridge out again. The rest of my day was filled with eating and sleeping.
Sunday finally came and I had a bad feeling about today. I woke up and got changed into a shirt and jeans. I decided to go shopping since I had nothing else to do. I grabbed my stuff and locked the door behind me. “Where are you going?” I turned around to see Jun, Sho, Ohno and Aiba with huge smirks on their faces. They started to grab my arms and feet. Ohno wrapped a blindfold on me and whispered. “Gomen ne, Sakura-chan.” It was dark and the next thing I knew it, I couldn’t see anything. I could only using my hearing to figure where I was going. Also they bounded my hands together.
I felt someone pushing me towards the elevator and then into a vehicle. Someone started the engine and I felt the vehicle moving.
“Where are you guys taking me!” I shouted. Aiba said. “We’ll take off your blindfold soon, just wait.” I was trying to untie myself. I moved my hand and I felt the rope being undone. “Why do you have to tie me up and put a blindfold on me? I just want to go shopping. Does Ninomiya-san know about this?” I loosened the rope and my hands were free. None of them knew that I wasn’t tied up anymore. Jun said. “It’s a surprise. You said you were free today so we’re taking you somewhere and no, Nino doesn’t know about our plan.” I knew it, after they heard about that bet, they wanted me to go out with Nino. Then I started to hear snoring coming from both sides of my ear. It sounded like Ohno and Jun sleeping beside me. I guess they stayed up late...
I took out my blindfold and moved in between the driver seat and the passenger seat. I whispered to Sho and Aiba, “Where are we going?” Then Sho hesitated and almost lost his control of the van. Jun and Ohno woke up and asked. “What happened?” Then they saw me, with no blindfold and my hands were free. I sat back down and asked them. “Where are we going?” I saw a big building in front of us. “Why are we at a building?” They looked at each other and Sho parked the van in a parking spot. “Nino is suppose to meet us here but we wanted you to meet Nino there.” I crossed my arms together and said. “So you want me to go out on a date with Nino...” They all shouted. “Hai.” I glared at them and said. “No way, I’m going in there to meet him.” I reached for the door handle and then Sho quickly locked the door. “You have to go in there. We’re doing this for him.” I turned my head around and asked. “For him?”
They all nodded and Jun said. “Yeah, when we debuted he was really happy. He would joke, make people laugh and he made a lot of pranks. Around the time that you left for Osaka, he became depressed but he knew that he had to keep up his image for everyone. When there wasn't any cameras or no one else was around he would go all moody and sad. Then you showed up in his apartment, he acted differently around us. Now, he changed back into his image when he debuted, happy and funny. When he had girlfriends, he never treated them nicely. You were the one that changed him.”
I sat down and thought about the times I saw him on TV. I knew he was acting all the time, he didn’t showed his true colours like when we were in high school. They were right, I noticed that Nino had became like a cool, popular, funny kid in high school right now.
I sighed and muttered “I’ll do it.” Then I straighten my back as I folded my arms and said. “Only on one condition.” They nodded and I continued. “Never do something like this like kidnapping me. I was about to think that a group of people that looked like you guys wanted to kill me. Just tell me the truth beforehand.” They laughed and then Sho unlocked the van. I waved to them and they took off. Probably somewhere near by so they can spy on us.
I walked inside where I saw Nino in a black beanie and a plain normal outfit. I took a deep breath and then walked towards him. “Oh, I didn’t know that you shop here too.” I smiled and then he widened his eyes and nodded his head. He said as he glanced at the time on his watch. “I’m waiting for Jun-kun, Ohno-kun, Sho-chan and Aiba-chan because they wanted to try out a restaurant in the mall.” Then I heard his phone ring. Nino picked it up and talked on the phone. He turned around to face me and said. “The other members are busy with other things. They told me to try the restaurant by myself.” I nodded and asked. “Why don’t I go with you, I haven’t had lunch yet.” He nodded and then I followed him to the restaurant.
The restaurant he took me to was in a small corner beside a clothes store. It was called “A La Paradise”. We walked in and we were seated by a handsome waiter. I opened the menu and checked the prices, they were really expensive. A salad cost 800 yen. I checked my wallet. I only had 10,000 yen on me. I sighed and ordered the cheapest thing from the menu. The menu ranged from French cuisine to American cuisine.
The handsome waiter came back and asked us about our orders. “I’ll have the roast beef with carrots.” Nino said. Then the waiter looked at me. “Uh.. I’ll have the smoked fish with a caeser salad.” Then he left, leaving 2 glasses of water for us. I looked around the restaurant, it was filled with foreigners and some high class Japanese people. Then I looked at Nino who was looking at a painting beside our table. I looked up and the picture showed a little house with a family of three.
“How did you find out about this restaurant?” I asked Nino who turned his head to look at me. “My manager recommended the restaurant to me, so I decided to try it out with the other members. Apparently, the chef is from America who studied French and American cuisine." I slowly nodded and then the waiter came back with our orders. He placed the orders on the table and then he left. I mumbled. “Ah.. It looks so good.” Nino smiled and then we both dug in our expensive dishes. “Oishii.” I said after taking a bite of my smoked fish.
We finished after an hour or so. I was stuffed and had forgotten that we were on a “date”. I was about to take out my wallet when Nino said. “I’ll pay for it.” No complains to that. I nodded and placed back my wallet in my purse. We left the restaurant and we started to walk around the mall. First we went to a game shop that Nino wanted to go. He bought some games and I just looked at the toys that were in the shop. The shop sold toys that were on air when I was a kid. I giggled while looking at them. We left the shop and went in a book store. I picked up a magazine with up-coming artists. I decided to buy it and Nino just looked around the store.
We started to have a great time talking and shopping with each other. When we passed a store filled with bathroom supplies. I saw a reflection of Arashi, in their disguises and giggling because we were walking beside each other, like a couple.
