“Sakura-chan, why don’t we take you out to lunch. It will be Nino’s treat.” Sho said to me. I nodded and said. “Okay, sure why not.” I smiled and then the 5 of them shouted in unison. “More rice please!” I sighed and grabbed their bowls and scooped more rice in them.
Today is going to be hectic somehow.. I hope I won’t go crazy after hanging out with them!
When we finished eating, Sho and Aiba offered to wash and dry the dishes for punishment. Nino was on my sofa playing with his Nintendo DS and Ohno was drawing something. Jun was watching TV when something caught my attention.
“V6 is working with the popular Matsuda Sakura on their new album.” The news reporter said. “Minna, Sakura-san is on the news.” Jun shouted to everyone. Everyone stopped what they were doing and ran to see me on the television. “Matsuda Sakura-san came from Osaka and she recently produced Naomi’s big hit album.” They looked at me and I nodded to them. “This will be a big hit for V6 who need a person like Matsuda-san to boost up their sales. We look forward on seeing V6's new album.”
They all glared at me while I was drinking coffee on my sofa. Nino asked. “Maji de? You produced Naomi’s recent album?” I nodded my head and smirked. “Hai. I wrote her big hit too. 'Our Melody'. They all pulled back. “That song was first on the top 10 chart for 5 weeks.” Jun said. “No wonder Johnny asked you to work with V6.” Nino said. I smirked again and then they became speechless.
“I was working in the Osaka Avex Records before the Tokyo Avex Records transferred me over to their building. I’ve been in the business for about 3 years now. Surprise ne.” They all shook their heads like they couldn't believe it, and stared at me. “After I graduated from high school, I accepted a scholarship from Kansai University. There I took different courses but music and business were the best choices for me. When I graduated from Kansai University, I immediately started working at Avex Records. That’s how I got here.” I got up and washed my cup. I walked out to see Arashi sitting on my sofa thinking about my story. “Well enough about me. Let’s go shopping, I haven’t been in a mall in ages. Can you guys show me around?” I smiled and then they got up. I grabbed my black purse and a sweater from my room and I saw that they had left my apartment. I slipped on a pair of black shoes and made sure that I had everything with me.
Before I left, I called Miki. She said that she sold her tickets and won’t be able to come over on Saturday. I told her that it’s okay and she’ll have another chance to get tickets. She cried over the phone and I told her that for her birthday I’ll get backstage passes to one of their concerts. She was happy and I ended the call with her.
They took me to a mall that I haven’t seen before. The stores were high class and expensive. From Guess to Channel to Louis Vuitton. While we were walking I asked. “Are there any other malls that can fit my low budget?” They all laughed and took me to another mall that was for normal people. “Wow, this mall is huge.” I walked to the center of the mall. I looked up to see 4 floors of shopping outlets. “Now this is a mall that I can afford.” I smiled and then walked to some stores. They followed and the sleepy face Ohno asked. “You’re famous but you have a low budget. Why?” I smiled and turned around to face him. “Hi-mi-tsu.” Then I noticed that they were out of place. They had disguises on but I didn’t. Good thing no one knows my face. I continued walking and found a shop. I saw posters and posters of them, Arashi hanging on a store’s windows and ceiling of the mall. “You guys are really famous..” I muttered and then turned around to see no one behind me. They all went into the store and started to look at their posters, pictures and cds. I sighed and walked inside.
They ended up buying some of their stuff or cds from other bands. And I thought I was the one who needed to do some shopping. I checked my cell phone and it was 12:00 p.m. While I was walking with everyone, I looked around the mall. Their posters were everywhere, like literally everywhere. My head started to hurt and then I quickly ran to a vending machine to buy a drink.
They noticed and they bought drinks for themselves. “You guys are everywhere! Every time I turn, I see either an Arashi poster or an individual poster. Anyways don’t you guys have work that you should be doing?” Nino who was playing with his DS the whole time said. “We-have-a-day-off-today.” I nodded and then Aiba shouted. “I’m hungry, let’s get something to eat!”
I followed them to a restaurant just right outside of the mall. It was a Chinese restaurant, they had ordered a private room and the lady took us to a room at the back. “What do you want to order Sakura-chan?” Aiba asked me while he was flipping through the menu. “Anything is fine. I’m not a really picky eater.” I smiled as I was looking at the prices. They were expensive but I guess idols can afford a lot of stuff. “So you’re like our leader here.” Jun said and pointed to Ohno. I smiled at Ohno and he smiled back. “Ah, is it really okay to eat here? I mean these prices are really expensive.” I asked Sho who was looking at the menu. Aiba shouted. “It will be Nino’s treat anyways. He doesn’t spend money so he can afford lunch for us.” Nino glared at Aiba and said. “At least I save my money for the future. Not like you, I put it in my bank account.” I giggled and said to Nino. “You have really have changed.” He blushed and then he used the menu to hide his face from me.
The waitress came over and asked us what we like to order. Jun who was beside me asked me. “What are you ordering?” I smiled and then said. “I guess I’ll have the mabo-dofu.” It wasn’t the cheapest meal or the most expensive meal so I thought it would be okay to get it. We all ordered and while we were waiting Sho, Jun, Ohno and Aiba wanted to learn more about Nino’s and my past.
I started by saying. “In middle school, he got chocolates from this girl. He thought it was for him but actually the girl gave her chocolates to the wrong guy. It was for his best friend." I stopped and drank a bit of water that was in front of me. "Then in our last year of high school..." The four guys were staring at me, trying to anticipate what will happen next. Nino stopped playing with his game and was daydreaming. I didn't want to disappoint them, but honestly, I didn't want to tell them this story. This story was the only one that I haven't told yet about Nino and my past.
“What happened next Sakura-chan?” Aiba asked me while he was tapping my arm. I smiled and was thankful that the waitress came in at the right moment. “Maybe later, our dishes are here.” They took their glances off of me and 3 waitresses was holding our lunches. They backed off of me and eagerly waited for their food to be placed on the table. The waitresses left and our food was hot and done. “Itadakimasu!” The five guys shouted while I just whispered. I looked around the table. Aiba and Jun were sitting beside me. Nino, Ohno and Sho were across from me. The table was round and it felt like I was eating with Gods. I sighed and started to eat my mabo-dofu.
